Zomba

Today was another of those special days, spent out in nature in the company of a knowledgeable and determined young guide from the local community.

Isaac accompanied me to the Zomba Plateau where we hiked in cloud across the expanse of land high above the Zomba valley where the town lay. We discussed the challenges that entrepreneurial young people are facing within their communities as the they create new pathways and follow different lifestyles. Isaac’s breadth of perspectives and thoughtful reflections about how he will continue to strive for his dreams provided a treasured insight into life in modern day Malawi.
