This really is a fantastic place to rest and re-energise. I have slept for 12 hours.

Today I walked for hours along the beach heading south. It's possible to keep going past Sally to Mbour, along the beach dodging the tides and passing old and new style villas, fishing boats and later the resorts of Sally. Along the way there are small beach bars to stop for refreshments.

I prefer the underdeveloped area around where I'm staying - the older style villas and the original village life still in action.
